Task 2 Fifa

The product I have chosen is Fifa 16, my tagline will be Take your Fifa experience to new heights!

Viral video idea- I will have a number of current and past players in the video, this will vary from some of the world class players today like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Manuel Neuer and Lionel Messi and players from the past will be Paul Scholes and Pele these are footballing icons. The video will start with the current players having a kick around before the game at Wembley stadium, the camera then moves to the dugout where the managers and staff sit, the camera then zooms in to Pele's and Scholes's eyes then goes back to the current players they are stunned to see what is happening. You then see Scholes and Pele shouting instructions to them for game. Before the game starts you hear Pele and Scholes tell the players some new features to the game, Double tapping Y will add curve to your through balls, the shooting stance of players have been upgraded, the Serbian league has been licensed this year for UT and better physique for some players will be added through the year. The game is 0-0 in the 89th minute until the size of Zlatan proves vital in running past 3 defenders thanks to the help of the new feature double tapping Y for a curved through ball. Once Zlatan scored you see Scholes running down to the corner flag where Zlatan, Messi and ever Neuer are celebrating.

Poster- The poster will include the EA sports logo and my tagline "Your Fifa experience to a new level" the main image of the poster will have Zlatan, Scholes and Pele looking at a distance for the extra affect of there facial expressions, below them it will include the new features to the game for example "New shooting stance" and "Double tapping Y adds curve to the through ball".

Merchandise- T-Shirt with Zlatan, Scholes and Pele or with Messi and Neuer. Limited edition bobble heads of the players, Wristband of any players face and a notebook with a quote from any player.

Advert- This will include what my viral video did but with a little bit more gameplay throughout the advert, and examples of all the new features that will be added into the game this will include a group of friends playing against each other while the new features are being highlighted.

Real life event- The real life event will include many football/Fifa fans throughout the world to take part in Power test this is where you have to kick the football as hard as you can into the net you have 3 kicks to get the best score your highest one will go on to the leaderboards worldwide and the top 10 will receive the game a day early for free and they'll get the chance to meet the current and ex footballers as part of a VIP trip down to Wembley stadium.

Scavenger hunt-The scavenger hunt will be to find two prizes one of the prizes is a EA sports football signed by Messi and Neuer this will have sentimental value to many fans mainly to German and Argentina fans as these two players represent either of these countries, and the second part of the scavenger hunt will be for a copy of the new fifa and inside the case it will have 3 tickets to any premier league match of your choice and this will also include a stadium tour of whatever club you chose this, this will excite the fans to go out and try and win these awesome prizes.

Tie inc- Sports Direct will sell my merchandise this will include T-shirts, Limited edition bobble heads, wristbands, a notebook signed by any player and a Fifa 16 poster, this will go on sale in their shops worldwide 2 weeks before the game comes out in September the game will come out from the 23rd-27th depending on where you are in the world.

Ian Bilbey, Kristian Donaldson and Sir Peter Blake

Ian Bilbey was born in London, he studied graphic design at RCA. His work remains influenced by his design background with his prominent concentration on using colour and line, but laced with a quirky Britishness, he now lives in the English countryside, he races vintage old sport cars in his spare time.

After he graduated from the Royal college of art his first job was with John Mcconnell at Pentagram before he chose to go freelance as a designer and a illustrator. His longest standing client is Paul Smith for who he has created many products for, many posters, clothing designs, window displays and most noticeable the Paul Smith mini's. He has also worked for some other big businesses, Honda, Toyota, BT, Nat West, The Royal Mail and Barclays bank these are just a number of high profile companies who he has worked for.



These are just two examples of his work he has created for different companies, he has used his technique in both by using colour in both, and the example of the big shows he is keen to make it different to other pieces of work he has also used the quirky Britishness as he likes to call it. The second one of the wheel is even more quirky as it has a mixture of colours, kind of like a rainbow in a wheel. 

I like his work as it is always different, I like the use of colour he uses rather than it being black and white, the quirkiness also adds that little bit extra to his work it makes it his own work and you can tell that.

Kristian Donaldson 

Kristian grew up in the shadows of both Nasa and Disney in coastal Florida, he knew he was either going to be a astronaut or a drawer for his career, he chose to become a well known drawer. He studied at Savannah College of Art and design, and he has worked for many major publishers in the comic book industry which include work for Marvel, DC and IDW three of the most well known comics in the world, and are known for the best comics. he has worked on and off with these three companies since 2004

He has recently had several high collaborations with comic superstars Brian Wood, including the breakout hit supermarket, which got him an 07 Eisner nomination. 

He has also done work for Adidas and is still working with them, this is the piece of work which caught my eye as he has done a lot of work with comics and has a very unique style as he can vary his work when it's needed and there isn't many famous artists out there who can do this as well as him.


These two images are some of his best work, mainly for the fact they're very different in style as you can tell the first image of the bus which has crashed and been destroyed is in a deserted place after a possible aftermath of a riot, this is for a comic book as it has the style of comics, and the Messi image is for Adidas which is a completely different style needed to grab a whole new audience. The style is unique as he can make something look professional. 


Sir Peter Blake 

Sir Peter Blake graduated from the RCA in 1956, having also completed his National service he received the leverhulme research award to study popular art whilst travelling Europe and went to teach for several years at various London art schools all the while working and exhibiting his first solo show was held in the Portal gallery in 1962 and since the early 70s his work has regularly been exhibited in one man shows and retrospectives around the world in 1981 he was elected a member of the Royal Academy and in 1994 he was made the third associate artist of the National Gallery je was knighted in 2002, this was a huge privilege for him.  


These are just two of his well known pieces of art that I liked as they're very different styles used in both more of a fun look in the Olympic game design, and more of an arty style to the eiffel tower in Paris as it is given a fun and calm look about it with the butterflies surrounding the tower. Which gives it a good feeling and mood to it.

These two images above are one example of the grid (the rule of thirds) the top one is this, as you have the persons head in the bottom of the image and the background of the wall and trees to add another measure to the image. The bottom image isn't the correct way of using the rule of thirds.






This is a example of hard light, as there is a high contrast and has a slight reflection of the person by the wall, it would work better if the sun was out more, as then you can get more than one slight reflection.

This is a example silhouette where we used the direction of light to create a shape or hand gesture with the light behind and the lights off

Viral campaign Dark Knight

Dark Knight viral campaign used many different ways to promote the film Dark Knight. The viral campaign for Dark Knight used some of the main areas of media. They used cross media convergence that included, posters and (billboards non electronic) which are a huge form of print media as they have a long lasting life so a big film like The Dark Knight used this to their advantage, Social media is another cross media convergence they used this might've been the biggest platform they used as near enough every person has access to Facebook,Twitter and blog were the main three used by the fans of the Dark Knight. The fans of the film would've used social media to try and help other Dark Knight enthusiasts find new clues.

About 10 million people took part in the manhunt, people all around the world were apart of the live manhunt they were given little clues to fin, once they had found the clue they could send the clue to other fans across the world via social media, phones and other ways to get the message out.

Photography the rule of thirds

The rule of thirds is used by photographers to line up a subject with the points in their view, the focal points are when the lines cross of the grid, which is three across this gives the image taken a effect and focus on the main subject which is the car, which is to the right of the image and has other details around which fit the other lines of the rule of third. If you spilt it into 9 segments you can see how the image is split.

This photo I took doesn't scream at the viewers as it isn't that interesting, so next time I will change the angle of the photo to add that more unique twist, i can also zoom in to the car so the focus point is more obvious to the viewers.
