Viral campaign Dark Knight

Dark Knight viral campaign used many different ways to promote the film Dark Knight. The viral campaign for Dark Knight used some of the main areas of media. They used cross media convergence that included, posters and (billboards non electronic) which are a huge form of print media as they have a long lasting life so a big film like The Dark Knight used this to their advantage, Social media is another cross media convergence they used this might've been the biggest platform they used as near enough every person has access to Facebook,Twitter and blog were the main three used by the fans of the Dark Knight. The fans of the film would've used social media to try and help other Dark Knight enthusiasts find new clues.

About 10 million people took part in the manhunt, people all around the world were apart of the live manhunt they were given little clues to fin, once they had found the clue they could send the clue to other fans across the world via social media, phones and other ways to get the message out.
