A client would like artwork created for the document size of 29.7 x 42.0cm for a poster, you would use A3

In printing terms what is a bleed? is when it scuffs the edge of the paper

when sending your illustrator files to the printer you should embed/outline fonts so it has you font

When sending a file to the printer what should your colour setting be? you should use cmyk

CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and key black

Serif font is small decorative line 

What is san serif doesn't have the decorative line.

What is my favourite font? Helvetica

RGB in design stands for Red, green blue

Jpeg is used to compress files, however isn't very good resolution

PDF stands for print digital file

GIF is used for small animation and videos

we use EPS for a high resolution file the downside it takes a lot of memory up.

In print terms dpi stands for dots per inch

the minimum resolution to scan artwork for print is 300, that makes it good resolution and makes it more professional.

you would use Illustrator for producing a logo as it has the best equipment for designing a logo.

To improve the quality of an old and damaged photograph you would use photoshop.

for an 8 page magazine you would use indesign.
